ELEVATE Taster | Gnocchi Making Class
$120.00

A hands-on gnocchi making class with Ash Puyol, drinks by Sopra and goodies from Sans Ceuticals.

You arrive, drink in hand from our friends at Sopra. The afternoon's already lighter than the week you left behind.

Then your hands are in flour, dough, the fun of making something deliciously messy. You roll, you press, you knead, you get it slightly wrong, you laugh about it. And somewhere in the middle, you notice you haven't thought about your inbox once.

You make something genuinely delicious. You nourish your hands with post-kneading care from Sans Ceuticals.

And then, you sit down and eat together. Comparing notes, techniques, gnocchis.

You take the recipe home to make for the people you love.

No agenda. No optimising. Nowhere else to be.

WHY GNOCCHI?

"I've been making gnocchi since I was a kid at my Nonna's side, mostly getting flour everywhere. I'm still not great at it, honestly. But some of my happiest memories are right there in that kitchen with her, no rush, nowhere else to be. That's the feeling I want to bottle and hand to you at this Taster."

— Jacqueline | Founder, ELEVATE

THE SCIENCE BIT

Doing something small and creative with your hands, like making a new recipe from scratch, measurably lifts your mood the next day, not just in the moment. The science calls it flourishing. We call it a very good reason to play with dough on a Saturday.

Don’t take our word for it.

Here's what the last room had to say. It'll tell you more than we can.

ELEVATE IS A BIG DOSE OF JOY WE’RE ALL IN NEED DESPERATE OF. A CHANCE TO CONNECT, RELAX, UNWIND, LAUGH AND SMILE…ALL THE THINGS WE OFTEN FORGET TO MAKE TIME FOR.

IT HAD BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME SINCE I’D TAKEN A MOMENT FOR MYSELF, AND AN AFTERNOON SPENT WITH GIRLFRIENDS, WATCHING A MOVIE AND COMPLETELY SWITCHING OFF, WAS EXACTLY WHAT BOTH MY BODY AND MIND NEEDED

IT WAS SUCH AN UPLIFTING AFTERNOON. I WALKED IN NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT AND LEFT FEELING LIGHTER. I’VE ALREADY TOLD THREE FRIENDS THEY NEED TO GO.

I FELT LIGHTER, CALMER AND GENUINELY RECHARGED. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE

THE TASTER WAS SO GOOD. EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. THANK YOU SO MUCH. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE

FAQs

It’s an ELEVATE thing. Which means woo-free, evidence-based and actually fun. No circle, no talking stick, no one asking you to share something vulnerable with people you just met. Just good food, good wine, and a couple of hours where your hands are too busy to reach for your phone.

Is this a wellness thing?

Do I need to know how to cook?

2

Not even slightly. Ash makes you feel at home in a kitchen whether you've made fresh pasta a hundred times or never once. You'll leave with a recipe you can actually pull off, and the confidence to make it again at home.

What exactly happens on the day?

3

You arrive, drink in hand from Sopra. Ash walks you through making gnocchi from scratch, flour, dough, kneading, the lot. You cook it, you sit down and eat it together, nourish your hands with balm from Sans Ceuticals, and you take the recipe (and a very cute apron) home with you.

Aboslutely, most people do. It's a small room and an easy one to walk into solo, no awkward icebreakers, no being put on the spot. You'll have people to talk to before the dough's even rolled. Ask a friend to come with you if you'd rather, but you absolutely don't need one.

4

Can I come on my own?

Life happens. Let us know at least 48 hours before and we'll transfer your ticket or move you to the next event. Inside 48 hours, tickets are non-refundable but transferable to a friend.
