HOW WE WORK
We take a room of people, your customers, your team, your guests, and replenish their joy.
The Joy Method is how: five elevated emotional states, gratitude, awe, compassion, joy and contentment, trained in sequence as measurable physiological states. Decades of peer-reviewed research powers it.
What happens in the room: people arrive flat. Guarded, tired, half-there. By the end they’re lit up, connected, energised, and genuinely feeling something, in their bodies. They leave lighter than they walked in, and they'll be talking about it for weeks.
It only works in person. Elevated emotions are physiologically stronger when they're shared, bodies synchronise, heart rates line up, and the feeling amplifies in a room in a way it simply can't on your own. Joy multiplies in company. That's why we only do this in real life.
Everything is evidence-based, and it's genuinely fun. People laugh. They surprise themselves. They stay longer than they meant to, and leave feeling more like themselves than they have in months.

Jacqueline Monitto, founder, spent fifteen years as a designer in fashion, Sydney, New York, San Diego, Melbourne. Personally, wherever she landed, the first thing she did was find her people and build experiences around them; parties, group trips, music, an open door to whoever wanted to come. She watched the same thing happen every time. People arrived a bit closed. They left noticeably lighter. She didn’t have the science for it yet. She just knew it worked.
What she didn’t see was that she was doing all of it while quietly running on empty. Then a medical emergency overseas stopped everything, and left her unrecognisable to herself. She found her way back not through a protocol or an app, but through ordinary moments of joy, and then went looking for the science that explained why they worked. She found it. And then she built the place she’d been looking for and couldn’t find.
